Covered School Walkways for linking different areas of the school together.
31m long with a projection of 2.5m. The height to the underside of the canopy is 2.4m.
A request was made via the schools artchitect to provide the school with a canopy so as that 2 different educational areas could be linked together with a walkway canopy. The route of the walkway canopy was via the school gardens which are used as part of the educational process in the childrens development. Within the walkway area it was required for the side walls to be transparent so as any pupils within the linking area could be seen for safety reasons. There was a tight time constraint placed on the completion of the project, as the school was reopening, and no construction works were allowed to be in process with pupils in attendance of the school.
School in East Anglia with building seperated by a garden area with footpaths.
Aluminium Framework with 123v Grp translucent roof sheeting. Solid polycarbonate side sheeting, to give protection for the walkway area.
Green canopy superstructure framework to compliment the garden area which the walkway leads through.
5 working days with multiple installation teams, due to time restraints provided by the client.
