Making the purchase of a Veranda, Canopy or Carport is not an everyday event for most customers, so we have made this customer guide to help people though the process.

Establish the benefits that are required for the proposed covered area.

Here are a few examples:-

For a Glass Veranda:

Having a covered area that allows its use all year round.

Being able the leave items outside that would otherwise have to be put away, such as patio furniture (no damp chairs from the morning dew), barbecues (all ready to go anytime).

Morning coffee or a dance floor for an evening party, I‘m getting carried away now, best to move on to canopies.

For a Canopy:

So many benefits for canopies as they have such a wide range of uses.

With a wall mounted cantilever canopy you don’t need any permanent posts as it can be wall hung.

A patio canopy, linking two area together like the house to the garage provides a walkway and a covered area.

A school canopy for the children or parents.

I sure you can think of many others, so I am going to think about car ports.

Benefits of  Carports:

Protect your car from the weather, frost in the winter, UV light in the summer, falling leaves in the autumn and those birds making a mess in the spring.

Loading and unloading the car under a carport is so much better.

If you have a convertible car you know about that mess on the soft top. Don’t  look up

Here a few questions to consider when choosing a Canopy Company.

Look into the background of the company you are considering buying from, this could include looking at reviews for the company or finding out which accreditations they hold and how long have they had them.

Do they specialize in the products that you are considering?

Have the products been tested for safety?

Do you need planning permission?

Do you need building regulations?

Is the design of the product suitable for your location?

Will wind and snow loading be provided for you property? These should be on estimates provided to you.

Are the products made from standard material or have they been developed for open side structures?

How much light does the roof let though? Our GRP sheeting is 85% translucent.

Will the products need painting in the future?

How long will the products last?

Do they manufacture the products?

Is the installation done by them?

So, there’s a few items to check up on.

When you first contact us, we will forward a brochure to you and follow up with a telephone call from our Regional Surveyor.  They will come along to your property to show you samples of our products.  They will also take measurements and answer any questions you may have.  We will then provide you with an estimate that will show you the wind and snow loadings for your site-specific postcode.  If you are happy and wish to proceed, we take a deposit payment of 20% of the order value and the remaining balance is paid upon completion. We will keep you advised on the progress of your order and will let you know an installation date as soon as we can.
